Calling all hula dancers - any age and any experience levels! Join Halau Na Maka Olali for a meet and greet session to learn hula, meet new people and have fun.
Our Hula Halau
Na Maka Olali, which translates to "bright eyes" or "a new beginning", is more than a hula group. It’s a group where you create lasting friendships, connect with other who share the love of the Hawaiian culture and continue the traditions and practices hula dancing.
If you are looking to join a hula family, please come out and visit us during one of our practices. We welcome all ages and experience levels. Our classes are tailored to support and encourage each dancer thru their learning and hula growth experiences. We would love to see you there! A hui hou (until we meet again)!

Classes We Offer
Halau Na Maka Olali offers four hula classes. All of our classes, except beginners, consists of hula dancers with different dance levels and experiences. We believe that everyone can learn from each other and we encourage our dancers to rely on each others strengths and abilities.

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
For 4 to 12 yrs, All Levels of Experience.
‘Ōpi’o
Fridays
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
For 13 to 18 yrs, All Levels of Experience.
Wahine
Fridays
8:30 pm to 9:30 pm
For 19+ yrs, All Levels of Experience
